Dentalign is one of the largest independent orthodontic groups in the UK. The original practice in Wokingham, Berkshire was established in 1980 and has now developed into eight practices offering the latest technology and modern surroundings.
Convenience is also an important factor as treatment can take up to eighteen months with regular 4 - 6 week visits. With this in mind Dentalign operate from surgeries in Wokingham, Bourne End, Bracknell, Camberley, Maidenhead, Marlow, Slough, Windsor and Woking. Dr Steven Kneebone BDS. MSc. D.D.Orth
R.C.P.S. M.Orth. R.C.S.
graduated from Bristol University, worked in
general practice and then as a lecturer at Bristol University. He then
undertook post-graduate training and obtained the M.Sc., D.D.Orth., R.C.P.S.
and M. Orth. R.C.S. He is a member of the British Orthodontic Society
and an International Member of the American Association of Orthodontics.
He is also a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists, International
Member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and European Member
of Lingual Orthodontics.
Dr Adam Ryan BDSc. MSc. F.D.S. M.Orth.
R.C.S.
graduated from Queensland University, Australia
and has worked at Guy's Hospital, Kingston Hospital and in private practice
in London. He holds B.D.Sc., M.Sc., R.C.S. and F.D.S. R.C.S. qualifications.
graduated from King's College Hospital and then worked in the Community Dental Service during which time she gained her Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons. She also worked in general practice and at Kingston Hospital, before returning for her postgraduate training at the Eastman Dental Institute where she achieved a Master of Science degree and the Membership in Orthodontics.
Dr Paul Greatrex BDSc. D.Clin.Dent(Orth)
M.Orth. R.C.S.
graduated from Queensland University, Australia and gained 9 years of
general practice experience in both Australia and the UK. He completed
3 years of specialist orthodontic training, gaining his Doctorate and
Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr Pam Thakral BDS. MSc. F.D.S. M.Orth
graduated from King's College Hospital, London and then worked as a Registrar
in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. During this time she gained her Fellowship
from the Royal College of Surgeons. She then returned to King's to achieve
a Master of Science degree and Membership in Orthodontics.

graduated from the University of Pretoria, South Africa and worked as
an assistant Orthodontist for his father who is a professor and specialist
in Orthodontics. He then obtained his Diploma in Orthodontics from the
same University. He is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and
holds B.C.H.D., Dip. Odont. Orth. qualifications.
Dr Vicky Rowan BDS.
graduated from Bristol University and worked in general practice for 8
years. She completed the B.O.U.L.D. course in Orthodontics and has been
working at Dentalign since May 1998.
Dr Vinay Belur BDS MDS (Ortho) F.D.S.
R.C.S.
graduated from Bangalore University and then embarked on a 3 year specialist
orthodontic training, gaining his Masters Degree and Fellowship from the
Royal College of Surgeons. He is on the specialist list for orthodontics
and surgical dentistry and holds B.D.S., M.D.S. (Orthodontics), and F.D.S.R.C.S.
qualifications. He is also a member of the British Orthodontic Society
and the American Association of Orthodontics.
