Dr
Sofia Ahmad BDS BSc MSc MOrth FDS Orth
graduated in
Dentistry with distinction in Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry
from King's College Dental School
in 1996. Her postgraduate
Orthodontic training commenced
in 2000 as a Specialist Registrar
at King's College Hospital and St Georges Hospital. She obtained
her MSc in Orthodontics in 2002 and her Membership in Orthodontics
in 2003. Her Senior Registrar (FFTA) training was carried out
at Guy's, King's and St Thomas's and the Queen Victoria Hospital
in East Grinstead. Sofia was appointed as Consultant Orthodontist
at the John Radcliffe Hospital and Stoke Mandeville Hospital in
2006. She is also involved in postgraduate orthodontic training
and lectures regularly for MFDS courses at the Royal College of
Surgeons.
Dr
Forhana Alam BDS MFDS MSc MOrth
graduated
from Guy's Hospital, London and has worked at the Eastman Dental
Hospital, Kingston Hospital and in general practice. She gained
her fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons and returned
to Guy's to achieve a Master of Science degree and Membership
in Orthodontics.
Dr
Vinay Belur BDS MDS (Ortho) FDS RCS
graduated
from Bangalore University and then embarked on a 3 year specialist
orthodontic training, gaining his Masters Degree and Fellowship
from the Royal College of Surgeons. He is on the specialist list
for orthodontics and surgical dentistry and holds BDS, MDS (Orthodontics),
and FDS RCS qualifications. He is also a member of the British
Orthodontic Society and the American Association of Orthodontics.
Dr Paul
Greatrex BDSc DClinDent(Orth) MOrth RCS
graduated from
Queensland University, Australia and gained 9 years of general
practice experience in both Australia and the UK. He completed
3 years of specialist orthodontic training, gaining his Doctorate
and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr
Steven Kneebone BDS MSc DDOrth RCPS MOrth RCS
graduated
from Bristol University, worked in general practice and then as
a lecturer at Bristol University. He then undertook post-graduate
training and obtained the MSc, DDOrth, RCPS and MOrth RCS. He
is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and an International
Member of the American Association of Orthodontics. He is also
a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists, International
Member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and European
Member of Lingual Orthodontics.
Dr
Nabel Abu Mezier DDS MSc MOrth RCS Edin
after
qualifying as a dentist he worked in both general dental practice
and dental hospitals. He then undertook postgraduate training
at Kings's College London and Guy's Hospital which led to his
Master of Science in Orthodontics Univerity of London and Membership
in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
He also worked at Canterbury and Guy's Hospital.
Dr
Stephan Nel BChD
(Pret) DipOdont(Orth) (Pret)
graduated from
the University of Pretoria, South Africa and worked as an assistant
Orthodontist for his father who is a professor and specialist
in Orthodontics. He then obtained his Diploma in Orthodontics
from the same University. He is a member of the British Orthodontic
Society and holds BCD and DipOdont(Orth) qualifications.
Dr
Vicky Rowan BDS
graduated from
Bristol University and worked in general practice for 8 years.
She completed the BOULD course in Orthodontics and has been working
at Dentalign since May 1998.

Adam Ryan BDSc MSc FDS MOrth RCS
graduated
from Queensland University, Australia and has worked at Guy's
Hospital, Kingston Hospital and in private practice in London.
He holds BDSc MSc and
FDS RCS qualifications.
Dr
Pam Thakral BDS MSc FDS MOrth
graduated from
King's College Hospital, London and then worked as a Registrar
in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. During this time she gained
her Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons. She then returned
to King's to achieve a Master of Science degree and Membership
in Orthodontics.
Dr
Alicia Thomson BDS MSc FDS MOrth RCS (Eng)
graduated from King's
College Hospital and then worked in the Community Dental Service
during which time she gained her Fellowship from the Royal College
of Surgeons. She also worked in general practice and at Kingston
Hospital, before returning for her postgraduate training at the
Eastman Dental Institute where she achieved a Master of Science
degree and the Membership in Orthodontics.
